Raylan makes an unforgettable first impression by following through on his promise to shoot a criminal for not leaving when he had the chance and is booted back to bluegrass country for his trouble. There he is faced with his past in the form of Boyd Crowder, a man he dug coal with back in the day. Since their coal-digging days, Raylan has stacked a justified body count, but so has Boyd.
